The Northeastern University graduate found her love for styling while working as an assistant stylist at The Avenue Magazine. Her passion for creating expressive looks is what propelled her into the role of styling director for 3 years. Most recently, she has served as the Fashion Market Editor at ESSENCE magazine.

Currently, Valerie works as a freelance stylist in NYC and has had the pleasure of working on music videos, photoshoots, and global ad campaigns with notable brands and clients, including Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Alexander McQueen, Dior, Carolina Herrera, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Shiseido, Dyson, Mac Cosmetics, 300 Entertainment, Ulta Beauty, Keys Soulcare, Blk Opal, and FitBit.
